Identify assets or goods and trigger interactions via NFC!

With our new client, in addition to reading RFID tags, we also support communication via NFC (Near Field Communication). NFC is one of a series of standards that enable mobile devices to communicate via radio signals. The functionality is similar to RFID, but NFC has a much shorter range.

Depending on the business process and requirements, the new feature offers the possibility to read the data by means of the end devices used and to process it via flexmobilty platform or to trigger interactions. There are many interesting application examples for business users. Example technical maintenance: Simply apply the mobile device to the tag and use information or trigger an operation. This can be, for example, checking the plant information for technical documentation or automatically calling up the plant maintenance plan to process it. There are countless configuration possibilities here!
