flexmobility platform: Update 11.0.13.0 now available

It’s that time again! The new version 11.0.13.0 of the flexmobility platform is now available. Find all important innovations here.

CCM

DifferentCompare: Import of whole menu structures enabled. In the preliminary run, a check for already existing process IDs or exceeding of mask restrictions takes place. If one of the points is the case, the import is aborted with a corresponding message.

New setting option: Check “Order of columns as specified here” in the “Value” -> “Column names” area. Background: If a table fills itself from a SQL, the order of the columns is determined by the SQL and one has the appropriate flexibility over it. However, if the table gets its content from a WebService call, you usually have no possibility to influence the order of the fields. Using the column name mapping you can now define an order in the CCM.

Tables: Dynamic columns. You can now dynamically add new columns to tables under “Value” in a new option “Dynamic Columns” by specifying a column name and storing a JavaScript. The JavaScript is executed for each row when the table is loaded on the interface. Contents of other columns can be processed in this JavaScript. Background: If a table is filled from a SQL, dynamic columns can be defined by the SQL and you have the corresponding flexibility. However, if the table gets its content from a WebService call, you do not have this flexibility. If you want to calculate a third column from two existing columns, this was previously only possible in a roundabout way.

There is now a TemplateOption picker on mask level. Here (design) settings can be deposited, which are to have mask far validity.

You can now change the configuration file in the CCM. In a selection list all files with the name config_*.txt from the flexmobility folder of the server installation are displayed. Before switching, enter a name for the current config.txt. It is also possible to upload a config file.

Webview

Additional options for script execution.

WebService calls are no longer made explicitly with NTLM authentication (as previously only in the Windows client) – Windows automatically chooses the appropriate authentication.

Server

With this version of the CCM the NEW signalR based WebView is delivered (see release notes before update!),

The server side log files, as well as the documentcapture folder can now be stored in a flexible location.

Clients

New placeholder [elementid:content:INDEX:0:id]: This can be used to read the value of a specific cell by specifying a row index and column name.

Passing the language list and interpretation by standard resources.

Setting option for automatic download of the offline DB.

WebServer pool allows placeholders in authentication data (username, password).

Push notifications: “LinkToProceed” feature also implemented for push notifications. This means, when clicking on the notification, the app can be directly redirected to a specific screen.

New JavaScript trigger “ReloadFromElement”.

The JavaScript trigger “RestartApp” enables the complete reloading of the resources through additional parameters.

Very extensive changes and extensions of the Resources (see Relaesenotes CCM).

Fixes

Creation conditions for menu items were ignored if only one mask was enabled (in this case it jumps directly to the mask and this happened even if the creation condition was ‘false’).

Forwarding -> “_reload” and passing parameters -> Elements referenced in the passing parameters did not reload if they had no reference to the element with the forwarding.

Placeholder [webserver_pool:default:webname] was not reset after a web change.

Server-side logging: Errors when accessing the log file are caught so that the actual action is not aborted as a result.

Copying the online mask to the offline mask -> Print templates -> Online mask suddenly had the print template of the offline mask entered. This has been fixed + The name of the print template is now editable!

DifferentCompare: Settings made in the properties of an element of type “Document capture” (such as max. image size, multiple selection, file name etc) were not captured in DifferentCompare.

Document download WebView -> The file arrives in the Resources in packages. If two packets in a row are identical, no “change” event occurs and the download is never completed because the expected number of packets is never reached. This has been fixed.
