flexmobility platform: Update 11.0.9.0 is available

Shortly before Christmas and at the end of the year, we also have an update for you. The flexmobility platform release 11.0.9.0 is now available. In the following you will learn which technical innovations, features and fixes you can expect with this update.

General

When replacing placeholders, case sensitivity is no longer taken into account. This is to simplify the handling of SQLite tables.

Reading in file contents: When configuring a path, there is now a “File Content” option in the “Result Type” drop-down list. If you configure a path this way to a .CSV file for table elements, the content will be loaded into the table.

Conditions -> “Comparison”: The comparison worked only for numbers so far. Now one can also compare versions and e.g. check if the used client version has at least version “xx.yy.zz”.

Configuration of forwardings “reload”: In the field “Reload mask from:” now also placeholders can be entered.

WebView

Set the time span for the session to expire after x minutes of inactivity via web.config. The value -1 means “never” -> no session expiration. 2 hours are default. <add key=”webView_sessionDuration” value=”5″/>

Print: Optimization in PDF module in handling images.

Document capture: new functions for image reduction and thumbnail generation in webview.

Document capture -> local file: The new configurable hooks “Multiple selection” and “Image selection” are available. For the functioning of these hooks in the WebView, an adjustment in the Resources is therefore also necessary. The standard resources of this version have this adjustment.

CCM

Menu item -> TemplatePicker: file selection dialog for icon added

Path configuration: For “Result type” option “File content” added

Updater tool: After update a button “Clear cache and reload” appears. Clearing the cache after an update is very important.

Area “Info”: Under “Version” you can see here additionally the information which .NET Framework is available on the server.

Area “Synchronization”:

For the charts, you can use a selection list to set how many days / months you want to look into the past (maximum 12).

In addition, you can generate a report in which the number of synchronizations for a selected period is displayed, differentiated by status. The report is completed by a list of occurred error messages and their frequencies.

Server

All WebService calls are now made explicitly over TLS. The SSL3 protocol is no longer supported.

Resources

Menu item: Template “iconFile” added – see entry CCM -> Menu item -> TemplatePicker

Document entry -> local file: The information about “multiple selection” and “image selection” are read and processed via the “typeInformation”.

If the mask is “busy”, all elements are disabled

If an identical message is to be sent to the app again in less than one second, this is interpreted as a “double click” and blocked.

 Fixes

Document entry “filename”: If a folder was specified in connection with orgFilename, the folder was ignored.

Processing -> WebService call -> Status code individualization: If one set the hook “Show message as confirmation dialog” a possibly configured redirect was executed, which should actually not be made by the error.

Version 11.0.8.0 had a bug in table paging, which has been fixed with this version.

Different Compare: If the configuration had entered test values for embedded processes in the CCM (to make the embedding visible in the CCM), embedding was also used for comparison which could lead to incorrect behavior.
